Diary/Diario June: Week 2 Monday – 6- 13 - 6-17 Well you've probably been wondering where i've been. Oh i'm still here, but vonery busy. I realize that this is a bit late, but its not my priority anyway. Its now the last 3 weeks of class and I'm trying to get things organized in my classes. If I don't i'm going to have problems. Anyways, i have a 12 page paper and a presentation in literature. In history i have a good ol test left. For linguistics i have a test, audio labs, another test and then a final....Later this will be just a test, the labs and a final paper/project. Not too bad i suppose when you rule out the last test. This week it got really really cold. It was so cold that the heating system here didnt do much. I couldn't study or do anything because it was so cold. The problem is that the houses are brick and cement so it is like living in a castle. I actually wore my inner coat to bed the whole week, or just the inner part. Also it was our luck to have the power go out so i really froze on that day. I really looked forward to taking showers then. Why you ask? Because they were the only thing to really warm me up because the water comes out at almost scalding temperatures. You wouldnt believe how fast you would get used to that. Later when the water came out hot i was so used to the high temperature of the other showers that i actually thought it wasnt hot enough and i refused to take a shower that day. You know the water is hot when your skin is a bit red when you leave the shower. :) I'm happy to be entering the final tier of the semester here. I want to be done with these classes so i can get back to what i want to do...like read spanish books and whatnot.
