  Week 2 

Monday – 5-9 --- Friday 5-13 

      So here's another weekly report because i'm too lazy to write a journal everyday.  I was supposed to get my grade for my first paper i wrote over a month ago on wednesday.  The prof said he would have them graded and handed back.  well i guess he only meant the people that turned in hard copies, because i didn't get mine.  Then he said at the end of class that those who turned in reports electronically would get grades through email.  ok, so i've checked my email everyday since then and i still dont have a grade.  I"m getting really mad because we have another paper due in a few weeks.  The thing is, that if we like our grade from the first paper it will be duplicated for the second and we dont have to write the other one.  Well SEND THE GRADE SO I CAN DECIDE!  I dont get it, if you say you're gonna turn something in to the students, do it.  dont doddle around.  if we didnt have the option to not write the second paper i wouldnt even care but if i get a bad grade on the first then i'm only going to have  a few days to write the second one.  I also had a test in history which i think i did ok on.  He put a bunch of tricky true and false which were supposed to be multiple choice.  Again i must stress that if you say its going to be multiple choice....keep it mult choice!  For the love of.....Also there were terms that werent in the book nor in the notes...thanks guy.  I hate it when teachers do that.  Dont put things on tests that dont have anything to do with what was covered in class or the book, because especially us foreigners arent gonna know these odd terms.  On a brighter note, i learned that rocios mom is coming back as well as her sister sol.  Sol i guess has athsma and cant stand the smoggy environment of santiago.  So now its really gonna be a full house.  Also the oldest daughter carola is coming for her graduation ceremony.  Why they have a ceremony almost 6 months later than she actually finished is beyond me.  So since my sisters loreto and rocio and i had tests on thursday we were gonna go out that night, but didnt.  But loretos boyfriend came to town and we went out last night(friday).  First the family went to a barbecue at angelas house.  angela is the mother of loreto, jose, and charlin.  Who replaced the mother of rocio and sol when they left for santiago more than a month ago.   Then rocio, loreto, her boyfriend, and i went out and they made me dance!  That's all i'm gonna say about that.  lol, jill be proud.  It kinda sucked cuz i didnt know any of the songs, and i cant dance.  But we were out til like 5 in the morning which is normal for them.  They're bars dont close at 2 am like in the states.  So after doing dances like the shopping cart, lawnmower, and the running man we finally went home.  We also made fun of how other ppl danced.  I guess that was fun.  Anyways I"m gonna have to get a user name and password so i dont ever have to use pixel for internet.  I'll only use it for emergencies and printing.  So now that i'm caught up, I'm gonna check out the gym and see if i can play some basketball.
